But Unicorn magically escaped that fate when Gray Dapple purchased her from

the killer buyer ... and brought her to the idlyllic 54 acre horse farm so she could be rehabilitated and put up for adoption with other horses like herself ...

Once in a kill pen at a horse slaughter auction awaiting an unconscionable fate, Unicorn now lives the life of luxury at one of America's most topnotch stables, to be trained by Amanda's friend and favorite, Gary Zook.

Our President and founding member is Amanda Sorvino, an ex-hunter/jumper equestrian and student of the acclaimed Gary Zook and the #1 fan of gray dapple thoroughbreds. The horse racing industry is bright and dark, and the tragic end for slow runners on the track could mean the fate of slaughter. But slow runners make excellent riding horses, so when one of our ex-racehorses becomes adopted, we have the stall space to rescue another slaughter-bound thoroughbred.
